The Nurse Assistant Training and Assessment Program was developed to successfully prepare our nursing assistants for certification by the State of California.
Our curriculum meets all federal and state training requirements.
Students graduate with essential theory and practical application skills to perform as a qualified nurse assistant.

This entry-level course prepares students for the State of California Nurse Assistant Certification Examination. This course includes classroom instruction and clinical practice in long term care facilities. Upon successful completion of this program, students is eligible to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) exam. San Diego Medical Colleges are approved testing sites. State board exam for Nursing Assistant is done in our campuses. The Program is approved by California Department of Public Health Licensing and Certification.
